Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together 3/4 cup of room-temperature unsalted butter, 1 cup of light brown sugar, and 1/2 cup of granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add 2 large eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture. Mix until well combined.
