Instructions:
Gather all the ingredients.
In a blender, combine the eggs, milk, oil, and sugar. Blend until creamy.
Gradually add the flour and cocoa powder, alternating and blending after each addition.
Add the baking powder last, mixing it in gently with a spoon.
Pour the batter into a greased pan dusted with cocoa powder.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 35 minutes.
For the Syrup:
In a saucepan, combine all syrup ingredients.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens slightly.
Finishing:
Remove the cake from the oven.
Drizzle with the chocolate syrup while still warm.
Let it cool. Decorate with chocolate sprinkles and strawberries if desired.
