Ingredients

For the Cake:

• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 2 large eggs, at room temperature
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup sour cream, at room temperature
• 1/4 cup whole milk, at room temperature
• 3-4 large ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, and thinly sliced

For the Topping:

• 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
• 1/3 cup brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening peaches)
