Set the oven temperature to 350°F. Prepare a 9″ x 13″ pan by spraying it with nonstick spray.
Add sugar and butter and mix well. Whisk in the eggs one by one.
After that, mix in the milk, vanilla, lime juice, and lime zest.
Pour in the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Using an electric mixer, combine until combined.
Before you put the batter into the pan, have it ready. When a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out
clean, bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
After cake has cooled, top with lime frosting.
For the Frosting of Fresh Lime
Use an electric mixer to thoroughly combine the cream cheese and butter in a large bowl. Include the zest and juice of the limes. Slowly add the powdered sugar to the mixture, cup by cup, until it becomes creamy and smooth.
Once the cake has cooled, spread the filling on top and top with more lime zest.
