How to multiply rosemary in water infinitely — it will only take you a few minutes!

Prepare the strands
Cut stems about 10 cm long, just below a node (where the leaves grow).
Remove the leaves from the lower half of each stem to prevent them from being submerged in water.

Soak in water
Place the stems in a jar so that they are submerged by 4 to 5 cm.
Place the container in a bright location, but out of direct sunlight.

Tip : Change the water every two to three days to avoid stagnation and the formation of bacteria.

Observe the formation of the roots
After one to two weeks, small white roots appear at the base of the stems.
When these reach 2 to 3 cm, the cuttings are ready to be transplanted.

Plant the rosemary in the ground
Transplant your cuttings into light, well-draining potting soil.
Choose a pot or a sunny spot, sheltered from the wind.
Water regularly but moderately: rosemary doesn’t like stagnant water.
