In a small bowl, mix together the borax , sugar , flour , and water until you form a crumbly paste.
Note : Borax is toxic to cockroaches but should be kept out of reach of pets and children.
Place small amounts of the bait in corners, under appliances, or near entry points where roaches are active.
Avoid spreading the bait in open areas—use jar lids or small containers to contain it safely.

Fill a bowl with equal parts apple cider vinegar and water .
Add a few drops of dish soap to break the surface tension.
