White vinegar disinfects thoroughly and its acidity helps eliminate dirt residues. It also helps deodorize the entire washing machine.

Fill the washing machine with hot water, add 750 ml of white vinegar and run a short wash. Once the wash cycle is complete, add 150 grams of baking soda and run another.

Once completed, leave the washing machine door open to allow it to dry thoroughly. Repeat once a month.

Clean the washing machine gasket with lemon and hydrogen peroxide

One of the parts of the washing machine most likely to accumulate mold and bad odors is the rubber gasket, due to the large amount of humidity.

After putting on gloves, pour 100 ml of lemon juice, 250 ml of hydrogen peroxide and 3 liters of water into a container and mix well.
