Mix two parts water and one part vinegar and pour into the bottle. Shake well, close the bottle and let it sit for 1-2 minutes. Then open the bottle and leave the solution overnight.
The next morning, rinse the bottle with plenty of cold water, then pour two tablespoons of baking soda and a little water into it. This will further clean the bottle and ensure that any residue is removed.
Use a bottle brush to clean the inside of the bottle. Scrub well to help remove all the dirt, then rinse again and dry well with a clean cloth.
This operation does not need to be done every day, but it is good to do it periodically to avoid the appearance of bad odors in your aluminum water bottle.
