I try to eliminate all this stuff as much as I can. I used to always simplify things – if I cooked something in the oven, I would season it beforehand. For the first dishes, I poured out the initial water.
Now I have a method that works for all possibilities.
First, you will need one liter of water. I put in a small spoon of citric acid and 3 big spoons of salt. Mix the solution well until the salt is fully dissolved.
Next, I put the chicken in this mixture. It is crucial that the body is fully submerged in it!
I let it sit for 3 hours, or even overnight.
This easy fix completely gets rid of any extra fat from the chicken. As an extra benefit, you will get more tender and flavorful chicken meat.
Hello, friends. I wholeheartedly suggest this approach to you. I use it personally and I know what I’m saying.
Now I always soak store-bought chicken in salted water. It’s a shame I didn’t know about this earlier, let me explain why.
