It’s rare to find a box of matches in city apartments these days, but I stocked up on them when I encountered an unpleasant surprise in my closet. As a rule, I prefer to leave repairs to professionals, but this required something different.

Having noticed a terrible smell from the toilet, I tried everything: detergents, scented blocks, intensive cleaning. But nothing helped. Finally, I called a plumber.

An elderly master arrived, serious and silent. He listened carefully to my problem and took out a box of matches from his pocket. I lit one and threw it into the toilet. My surprise was limitless.
