Preparation method
To make the batter: In a bowl, beat the egg and sugar until fluffy. Add the yogurt and optional toppings, such as vanilla or lemon, and mix well.
Adding the dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a smooth, slightly sticky dough forms.
Forming cookies: Use a spoon to form small portions of dough and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Baking: Bake the cookies in an oven preheated to 180°C for 12–15 minutes, until they are lightly golden around the edges.
Serving and storage tips
Serve the cookies warm or after cooling.
They taste great with jam, honey or sprinkled with powdered sugar.
