The controversy began with what should have been a typical Instagram post from the singer-songwriter. On a bright, sunlit morning, Swift posted a picture of herself with a simple but firm message of support for Kamala Harris. “Kamala Harris represents the future of this country,” she wrote, urging her followers to vote for the Vice President in the upcoming election.
