Ingredients

o 1.5 pounds (680g) stewing hamburger, cut into cubes

o 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

o Salt and dark pepper to taste

o 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

o 1 huge onion, chopped

o 2 cloves garlic, minced

o 3 carrots, peeled and sliced

o 3 potatoes, peeled and diced

o 2 celery stalks, chopped

o 1 can (14 ounces) diced tomatoes

o 4 glasses meat broth

o 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

o 1 teaspoon dried thyme

o 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

o 1 cove leaf

o 1 container solidified peas

o Chopped new parsley for garnish

For the Bread Bowls:

o 4 circular bread pieces (such as sourdough or Italian)

o Butter for brushing (optional)
