I love how I can make my kid’s favourite into a fun and grab-and-go dish. This flavorful patty melt on top of toasted buns is genius! INGREDIENTS :
- 1 lb lean ground beef at least 90% lean
- 4 (6”) sub rolls
- 1 Egg
- 1 ¼ c. saltine crackers
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ small onion minced
- ½ c. milk
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- 4 tbsp ketchup plus more for topping
- tsp salt & pepper, to taste
- 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
