Preparation of the dough:
In a large bowl, beat 3 eggs with 100g sugar and 1 tsp vanilla sugar until light and fluffy.
Add 90ml oil and mix well.
Stir in 200g cornflour and 1 tbsp baking powder, mixing until smooth and free of lumps.
Baking:
Pour the mixture into a greased or lined 18cm cake tin.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 35-40 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Decorating:
Allow the cake to cool completely before removing from the tin.
Dust the top of the cake with icing sugar before serving.
