Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking pan with butter and flour.

  2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Stir in the milk and melted butter until well combined.

  5. Add lemon zest if desired for a fresh citrus touch.

  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  7. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before unmolding.
