 Prepare the Dough

In a large mixing bowl:

  • Combine flourbaking powdersalt, and sugar. Mix well.

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together eggsmilkmelted butter, and vanilla extract.

Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms. If the dough feels sticky, sprinkle a bit more flour.

 Shape the Doughnuts

  • Roll small pieces of dough into 1-inch balls using your palms.

  • Place them on a floured tray while heating your oil.

 Heat the Oil

In a deep saucepan or fryer:

  • Test with a small piece of dough—it should sizzle and float.

 Fry Until Golden

  • Gently drop 4–6 balls at a time into the oil.

  • Fry for 3–5 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown on all sides.

Remove using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

While still warm, roll each doughnut in a shallow bowl of granulated sugar for a sweet finish.
