Prepare the Dough

Shape the Doughnuts

Roll small pieces of dough into 1-inch balls using your palms.

Place them on a floured tray while heating your oil.
Heat the Oil
In a deep saucepan or fryer:

Test with a small piece of dough—it should sizzle and float.
Fry Until Golden

Gently drop 4–6 balls at a time into the oil.

Fry for 3–5 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown on all sides.
Remove using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Coat in Sugar
While still warm, roll each doughnut in a shallow bowl of granulated sugar for a sweet finish.
