When they appeared at the Chomp and Stomp Festival in Cabbage Town, Atlanta, they were dancing among some of the best bluegrass music players anywhere. If you’ve never attended an event such as this, you really need to try it at least once in your life.
The Yellow Dandies performed masterfully but it wasn’t only the music that drew a crowd, it was also the dancing done by Miss Moonshine.
This dancer is not somebody who is doing something well-known, such as the jitterbug or perhaps the tango. She is doing something known as buckdancing, and her feet move so quickly you can barely see them.
Of course, it also matters that she is dancing to some of the fastest fiddle music that bluegrass has to offer. It’s an absolutely phenomenal scene, and the different dance styles performed are beyond amazing.
As far as Miss Moonshine is concerned, she is dedicated to the traditional form of dance. You can tell that she has been doing it for many years and she is exceptionally good at doing it.
