When an Instagram photo purportedly displaying a letter written by a woman who had left her baby in the vehicle to go shopping at Target went viral in early March, I believe that’s what the internet believed was happening.

In March, influencer Bonnie Engle made her Instagram debut with a clip that swiftly gained traction online. Ever since it was uploaded, the video has racked up millions of views and more than a thousand comments.
A close-up of a handwritten note that reads, “My baby is OK.” is taped inside a vehicle window in the aforementioned video. He has his snack and drink! At the moment, I am in Target. Come back shortly!
Many viewers were startled enough by the message alone to stop watching the video.
