1 – CAT LITTER

If you have a cat, you probably don’t have mice in your home. If your kitty has resigned or does not have access to the places where mice enter, there is an intermediate solution.

Place a handful of cat litter in areas frequented by mice. They don’t like its smell and you will have the pride of having saved lives by keeping them away from your cat.

To scare away mice in a gentle and natural way, nothing beats eucalyptus essential oil. Mice and other rodents cannot stand the smell. So, simply pour a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil onto a cloth which you will then place in the places favored by its 4-legged nibblers. Mice and rats should desert quickly.

Mice hate the smell, noise and slippery surface of aluminum. From then on, you can use aluminum foil to fill the holes where rodents slip through.
