Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Mix in vanilla extract and salt.
Gradually add flour, stirring until just combined.
Fold in mini chocolate chips.
Divide dough into 12 portions; press each into the bottom and sides of a greased muffin tin to form cups.
Bake 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
Remove from oven and immediately press semi-sweet chocolate chips into the center of each cup.
Cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Variations & Tips:
Add 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts for a nutty twist.
For peanut butter lovers, add a teaspoon of peanut butter with the chocolate chips.
Sprinkle colored sugar or sprinkles on top before baking for a festive touch.
