I felt much more upset and concerned since they refused to discuss the matter. As time passed, the prospect of attending university and pursuing my passion for aviation appeared to recede like sand in the wind.
Upon reaching the age of nineteen, I was filled with hope and excitement for what the future held, but a devastating reality shattered all of my hopes. Upon logging into my account, I was filled with excitement since I knew it would show me the financial security I needed to pay for college.

But to my astonishment, I saw that my once-rich account had zero dollars. My parents’ astounding treachery left me speechless and confused when I confronted them about it. Their response was shocking and disheartening, detailing avarice, bias, and self-centeredness; it was a bitter pill to take.
My brother, who was severely indebted and had foolishly squandered his own money on a sports vehicle and a luxurious lifestyle, ended up getting all of my college funding paid for by my parents. When the truth hit me, a tidal wave of intense emotions washed over me, including anger, scorn, and a profound feeling of betrayal.
“You paid for his college so he wouldn’t go bankrupt?” My voice quivered as I let out a low growl, a combination of shock and fury. “After all the hopes and dreams I put into that fund and the things I gave up for it, you just handed it to him like it didn’t matter?”
