NEW: Kamala Harris says she’s ‘glad’ Trump is safe after shots fired at West Palm Beach golf course

After the shots were fired, the Trump campaign reponded, “President Trump is safe following gunshots in his vicinity.”

Secret Service agents fired on the suspect who had a gun on the golf course. After the agents engaged, the suspect immediately fled from the scene and was soon apprehended afterward.
