We do not lift the bottle above the water that has accumulated in the sink, basin or bathtub in order to maintain the volume of water in it that is necessary for work.

To clean the toilet, you need to choose a larger bottle, for example, a 3-liter one. The main thing is that its diameter matches the size of the drain hole.

The method I described is not a panacea for any blockages, including old ones. But in many cases it can quickly help out if there is no way to invite a specialist or to carry out high-quality drain cleaning yourself. With a minor blockage, the effect will be achieved in literally a minute, and perhaps even faster. The method is convenient to use when clogging or to push through a recently formed blockage.

It is impossible to make the plumbing problem worse with such a solution. In the worst case, the blockage will not be cleared and you will have to resort to dismantling the water drainage system under the plumbing fixtures.
