Preparation
1. Prepare the dough:
In a large bowl, mix the cottage cheese, soft butter, egg yolks, and sugar.
Gradually add the flour and baking powder until the dough becomes soft and uniform.
2. Chill the dough:
Wrap the dough in cling film and place it in the fridge for 20 minutes to harden.
3. Shape the buns:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Remove the dough from the fridge and shape it into small buns of your preferred size.
Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
4. Bake:
Bake the buns for 20 minutes, or until golden.
5. Decorate:
Let the buns cool, then sprinkle them with icing sugar for a sweet and elegant touch.
Tips
Cottage cheese: For a smoother dough, sift it before mixing.
Butter: Use room temperature butter for easier mixing.
Personalize: Add raisins, chocolate chips, or nuts to make them your own!
