- Prepare the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Mix the Dry Ingredients:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk to combine.
- Mix the Wet Ingredients:
- In another bowl, use a mixer to blend the cream cheese, eggs, sour cream, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil until smooth.
- Combine the Mixtures:
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, blending just until incorporated.
- Bake the Cake:
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool the Cake:
- Let the cake cool completely on a wire rack before frosting.
- Prepare the Frosting:
- Cream the softened cream cheese and butter in a medium bowl.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla essence. Adjust consistency with milk if needed.
- Frost and Serve:
