Alternatively, you can use it to hang kitchen towels that are used to dry hands or dishes . Just stick the oil barrel sleeve on the wall where you like and then use it as you want. Obviously it cannot hold who knows what weight, so  have to be careful.

To do this, you go directly into the rod on which clothes hangers are usually hung, or on other coat hangers.
