3. Chest Pain
This is one of the most well-known warning signs of a heart attack. The pain may feel like pressure, tightness, or squeezing in the chest and can radiate to the arms, neck, or jaw. Immediate medical attention is necessary if you experience chest pain, especially if it’s severe or accompanied by other symptoms.
4. Weakness
Sudden and unexplained weakness or fatigue, particularly after physical activity, could be a result of restricted blood flow due to narrowed arteries. This lack of oxygenated blood reaching the muscles can be a precursor to a heart attack. Persistent weakness should not be ignored.
5. Dizziness and Cold Sweats
Feeling dizzy, lightheaded, or experiencing cold sweats can be signs of inadequate blood supply to the brain, often due to poor circulation. These symptoms, especially when occurring together, are alarming and warrant immediate medical consultation.
