Directions:
Cook the Chicken
In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the chicken over medium-high heat until browned.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add Pasta and Sauce
Add the pasta, marinara sauce, and 2 cups of water to the pot.
Stir to combine everything well.
Simmer
Bring the mixture to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked al dente.
Add Cheese and Herbs
Stir in the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
Serve
Garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately.
