Rice water has long been lauded for its many skin benefits, from acting as a natural toner to balancing sebum production. However, what many don’t realize is that rice water can also help shrink enlarged pores by acting as an astringent. If you’re struggling with open pores and looking for a natural solution, you’ve come to the right place.
In today’s article, I’ll walk you through a 3-step rice water treatment that will help tighten and minimize your pores, leaving your skin smoother and clearer. But before you begin, make sure to cleanse your face with a gentle facial cleanser to remove dirt and impurities.
Step #1: Tone with rice water
Ingredients :
Rice water soaked overnight
1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel
1 tablespoon of rose water
Instructions for use :
In a clean bottle, pour half a cup of rice water soaked overnight .
Add 1 tablespoon of rose water and 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel to the rice water.
Mix all ingredients well until well blended.
Soak a clean cotton pad with this toner and gently dab it on your face.
Allow the toner to dry naturally on your skin. This step will help cleanse pores, balance oil production, and prepare your skin for the next treatment.
