Instructions:
Prepare the Cake:
Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the cake mix box.
Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions.
Pour the batter into a 9×13-inch baking pan and bake as directed on the box.
Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely in the pan.
Prepare the Filling:
In a medium bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and one container of Cool Whip. Mix until
well combined.
Spread the mixture evenly over the cooled cake.
Spoon the cherry pie filling evenly over the cream layer.
Add the Topping:
Spread the second container of Cool Whip evenly over the cherry pie filling layer.
If desired, add additional cherry pie filling on top for garnish. You can create a swirled effect by lightly
swirling the cherry pie filling into the Cool Whip with a knife.
Chill and Serve:
Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours, or until ready to serve, to allow the layers to set and the
flavors to meld.
Cut into squares and serve chilled.
