- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until fully browned. Drain any excess grease and let it cool.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface. Cut each sheet into squares or rectangles, depending on your preference.
- Place a portion of the cooked sausage along the center of each pastry piece.
- Fold the pastry over the sausage, sealing the edges. Use a fork to crimp the edges for a decorative touch.
- Transfer the prepared rolls to the baking sheet. Brush each roll with beaten egg and make a small slit on the top to allow steam to escape.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
- While the rolls are baking, you can brush them with a little olive oil for extra shine.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
