Pecan Pie Balls: A Sweet and Crunchy Delight

Ingredients:

1 cup pecans, finely chopped
1 cup crushed graham crackers
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup maple syrup or corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup powdered sugar (optional, for coating)

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped pecans, crushed graham crackers, brown sugar, and salt.
Add the melted butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix well until the ingredients are fully combined and the mixture holds together when pressed.
Step 2: Shape the Balls
Using your hands or a small cookie scoop, roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 3: Chill the Balls
Refrigerate the pecan pie balls for at least 30 minutes to firm them up.
