Instructions:
Sear the Beef:
Sprinkle the beef strips with garlic powder.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef strips for about 5 minutes on each side until browned. Transfer the beef to the slow cooker.
Prepare the Sauce:
Dissolve the bouillon cube in ½ cup of hot water. Stir in the cornstarch until smooth.
Pour the mixture over the beef in the slow cooker.
Add Vegetables and Seasonings:
Add the sliced onions, bell peppers, diced tomatoes (with the juice), soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and ginger powder (if using) to the slow cooker.
Stir everything gently to combine.
Cook:
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is tender and the sauce has thickened.
Serve:
Serve the pepper steak over cooked rice, and enjoy!
