Perfect Medium-Rare Ribeye Steak

1. Pat dry the steak with paper towels and season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.

2. Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat and drizzle with olive oil.

3. Sear the steak for 2–3 minutes per side until a deep brown crust forms.

4. Reduce heat to medium, add butter, garlic, and rosemary.

5. Spoon the melted butter over the steak for 1–2 minutes to baste.

6. Remove from the pan and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
