Figs
These are plants that require a warm and sunny climate and can reach 5 meters in height. The best soil for growing figs is certainly fertile, but it also resists dry soils well. The cultivation can come from grafts or cuttings and can be done in spring or autumn.
Multiply the fig by planting four figs in a pot
To propagate a fig tree, you can start with four figs placed in a pot filled with soil. First, you must cut off the tops of the four figs with a kitchen knife. Then, the four figs must be placed in small, evenly spaced furrows on the ground.
At this point, after covering the figs with soil, it is necessary to smooth the soil well and irrigate it with water. After this, the clay pot containing the buried figs must be covered with a plastic container. The small fig trees will hatch in a few weeks.
Once the fig trees have developed, they must be pulled out of the pot, prune the roots a little and plant them in individual pots to obtain four beautiful fig trees. In a few weeks, the fig tree will take on a bushy appearance.
For small fig trees to bear fruit and thrive, it is important to keep the plants in a sunny but protected place on the balcony or in the garden. In addition, it is necessary to water the fig tree regularly and fertilize it only during the first six months of the year.
