Palin’s political career began in Alaska, where she served as the state’s first female governor in 2006. She married Todd Palin in 1988, and they raised five children together.
However, after 30 years of marriage, they divorced in 2020, which Palin described as “emotionally devastating.”
In 2022, Palin attempted a political comeback by running for Alaska’s US House seat, but she was defeated by Democrat Mary Peltola.
She has since hinted at a potential vice-presidential run alongside Donald Trump in 2024, stating, “Trump needs to choose somebody who, like him, has nothing to lose.”
