Add soda:
Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the washing soda. The mixture will thicken slightly.
Top up with water:
Pour the mixture into a clean bucket or large container. Gradually pour in 10-12 liters of warm water and stir thoroughly.
Optional additives:
Add essential oil and/or vinegar if desired to give the detergent fragrance and additional cleaning power.
Cool and store:
Allow the detergent to cool completely. Then pour it into old detergent bottles or other suitable containers.
How to use:
For the washing machine: Add about 150-200 ml per wash directly into the detergent compartment.
Stain treatment: Apply the detergent directly to stubborn stains, allow it to work for a short time and then wash as usual.
Notes:
Shake or stir briefly before each use as the detergent may separate during long-term storage.
Not suitable for wool or silk as soda could damage the fibers.
Happy washing and saving money! 😊
