- Remove stems and leaves from the fruit to be preserved, then wash and rinse it thoroughly, ensuring proper drying.

- Place the prepared fruit into the glass jars.
- Pour hot water into the jars, filling them to the brim.
- Allow the jars to sit aside for 10 minutes, ensuring lids are placed without closing them.
- After the allotted time, pour the water from the jars into a saucepan and bring it to a boil.
- Add two tablespoons of sugar to the fruit, then pour the boiling water back into the jars.
- Seal the jars hermetically, leaving a free edge at the top.
- Wrap the glass jars in two towels and set them aside.
- Let them cool at room temperature for 24 hours.
Following these steps, you can successfully preserve fruit for up to 12 months, offering a fresh and convenient alternative to refrigeration
