Fans of both artists are buzzing with excitement over the possibility of a powerful, politically charged event that could shake up the 2024 election season.
This all started when Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris announced Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate.
The announcement quickly took a life of its own on social media, particularly among Beyoncé’s fanbase, known as the Beyhive.
Their excitement was palpable, not only because of Harris’s choice of Walz but because of a resurfaced proclamation he made in 2023 that declared “Beyoncé Day” in Minnesota.
Governor Walz’s proclamation, issued ahead of Beyoncé’s performance at Huntington Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, was a heartfelt tribute to the artist.
