Directions:
- Prepare the Cake:

In a large bowl, beat together the pumpkin puree, sugar, oil, and eggs until smooth.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cloves, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until well combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Bake the Cake:
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely before frosting.
- Make the Frosting:
In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, beating until fluffy.
- Frost and Serve:
Spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the cooled cake. Slice and serve.
