Here’s a quick & easy version that’s cozy, flavorful, and totally soul-warming — perfect for busy nights or when you just need a little comfort in a bowl.
🥟 Quick & Easy Wonton Soup
🛒 Ingredients:
- 12–15 frozen wontons (pork, chicken, shrimp — your choice)
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 green onion, sliced
- Handful of baby spinach or bok choy (optional)
- Chili oil or sliced chili (optional, for heat)
👩🍳 Instructions (15 Minutes!)
- Simmer Broth:
In a pot, heat broth with garlic, ginger, soy sauce & sesame oil. Bring to a simmer. - Add Wontons:
Drop frozen wontons into the simmering broth. Cook according to package (usually 4–6 mins until they float). - Add Greens:
Toss in spinach or bok choy during the last minute of cooking. - Serve Hot:
Ladle into bowls, top with green onions & a drizzle of chili oil if you like a kick!
