Just days before his death, on September 3, 2024, Quan shared a cryptic Instagram post with the caption, “Vision clear even through the BS 🤫.” This post has since become a poignant reminder of his presence and connection with fans.
Quan leaves behind his longtime girlfriend, Amber Williams, and their two sons, Royal Lamar and Layor Leonis Lamar. The couple had shared a deep bond, often expressing their love and support for each other on social media. In a heartfelt 2016 birthday message, Williams praised Quan as an amazing father and partner, saying, “It’s been quite a roller coaster but we’ve learned to get over the hills, twist, & turns as ONE! Love you babe ❤️ @richhomiequan.”
The family shared many cherished moments, including a memorable gender reveal party in 2020, where they announced they were expecting their second child, a son. One touching photo shows Quan and Williams holding their son Layor between them, his bright smile reflecting the joy and unity of their family.
