1 tablespoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon freshly grated or dried ginger
1 liter (about 4 cups) water
Juice of 1 fresh lemon
Instructions:
Boil the water
Bring 1 liter of water to a gentle boil in a pot or kettle.
Add rosemary and ginger
Once boiling, add the dried rosemary and ginger to the pot. Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer gently for 5-7 minutes so the flavors infuse fully.
Strain the tea
Remove the pot from the heat and strain the tea into a teapot or large jug to remove the rosemary leaves and ginger pieces.
Add lemon juice
Squeeze the juice of 1 fresh lemon into the strained tea and stir well.
Serve hot or warm
Pour into cups and enjoy immediately, or let it cool slightly for a soothing warm tea.
Optional tips:
Sweeten lightly with a teaspoon of raw honey if you prefer a touch of sweetness.
Add a pinch of black pepper for an extra warming, spicy note.
