- Quickly moisten a cotton ball with alcohol and gently wipe the back of each leaf where the mealybugs are present.
- Be diligent and thorough, ensuring you cover all affected areas to prevent re-infestation.
2. Bar Soap and Cotton:
- In a container, mix 1 cup of warm water with a bar of soap until it becomes viscous.
- Soak a cotton ball in the soapy solution and gently rub it on the affected leaves.
- For hard-to-reach areas or larger infestations, transfer the soapy solution to a spray bottle and thoroughly spray the plants.
- Repeat weekly to prevent future infestations.
3. Garlic and Water:
- Crush 1-2 cloves of garlic and soak them in hot water until cooled.
- Transfer the garlic-infused water to a spray bottle and generously spray the affected plant.
- Repeat this process 3 times a week for optimal results.
