- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Prepare the Cauliflower:
- Trim the leaves and stem of the cauliflower, keeping the core intact to hold the steaks together.
- Slice the cauliflower vertically into 1-inch thick “steaks.”
- Season the Cauliflower:
- Place the cauliflower steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle olive oil over the cauliflower steaks and season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Bake the Cauliflower:
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and golden brown.
- Add Cheese and Peppers:
- Remove the cauliflower from the oven and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly over each steak.
- Top with the chopped sweet pepper.
- Bake Again:
- Return the cauliflower to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Finish with Mozzarella:
- Once done, garnish with shredded mozzarella cheese and allow it to melt slightly.
- Serve:
- Serve the cauliflower steaks hot, enjoying the rich flavors and satisfying texture.
