Instructions:

3. Add Broth and Simmer:
Pour in the vegetable broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15–20 minutes, or until the jalapeños are tender.
4. Blend the Bisque:
Use an immersion blender to purée the soup until smooth. Alternatively, carefully transfer the soup to a blender in batches and blend until creamy, then return it to the pot.
5. Add Creaminess:
Stir in the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and milk, whisking until the cheeses are fully melted and the bisque is smooth.
6. Season and Adjust:
Add the smoked paprika and season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes to let the flavors meld.
7. Serve:
Ladle the bisque into bowls and garnish with optional crumbled bacon, a dollop of sour cream, or chopped green onions for extra flavor. Serve with crusty bread or tortilla chips.
