- Prepare the Lemon: Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice into a small bowl. You can save the lemon halves for another use, such as adding them to your water for a refreshing drink.
- Mix with Olive Oil: Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the lemon juice. Mix well to combine.
- Soak Your Feet: For best results, soak your feet in warm water for about 10 minutes to soften the calluses. This step makes it easier for the remedy to penetrate the skin.
- Apply the Mixture: Dip a cotton ball or a small cloth into the lemon and olive oil mixture. Apply it directly to the callused areas of your feet. Ensure that the entire callus is covered with the mixture.
- Cover and Let It Work: If you prefer, you can cover the area with a bandage or gauze to keep the mixture in place. Leave it on for at least 30 minutes. For better results, you can leave it on overnight.
- Exfoliate: After the mixture has had time to work, gently scrub the callused areas with a pumice stone or foot file to remove the softened skin. Be gentle to avoid damaging the healthy skin underneath.
- Rinse and Moisturize: Rinse your feet with warm water and pat them dry. Apply a good moisturizer to keep your feet soft and hydrated.
