Instructions:
First, using a bowl, mix the flour and salt. Now, in another bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water and let it rest until it becomes frothy.
Next, add the apple cider vinegar and honey to the yeast mixture. Incorporate the liquid ingredients into the flour and mix until a smooth dough forms.
Then, transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until it becomes soft and elastic.
After that, place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rest for about 1 hour until it doubles in size.
Next, preheat the oven to 392°F (200°C).
Then, punch down the dough to release the air, shape it as desired, and place it on a floured baking sheet.
Finally, bake for approximately 30 to 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
Tips:
- Brush the bread with honey diluted in water before baking for a nice shine.
- For a different texture, add nuts or raisins to the dough.
- Store the bread in a plastic bag to keep it soft longer.
