Access the Filter:
Front-loading machines usually have a removable bottom cover. Pry this cover up to reveal the filter.
Remove the Filter:
You’ll see a screw in the middle. Use a screwdriver to remove it and lift the bottom up. Lift out the filter box, pour out the dirt, and scrub it clean.
Clean the Washing Drum:
For top-loading machines, use a cloth to wipe the inner washing drum.
Reassemble:
After cleaning, reassemble the filter and cover as before.
